Ukraine will invest over 34 billion UAH in the development of aircraft production by 2030.
Prime Minister Dennis Shmichal said this in his speech at the Infrastructure Forum “Large Construction: Aviation. Tourism” on Thursday, a Ukrinform reporter reported.
“We have a strategic document […] A state-focused scientific and technical program for the development of the aviation industry for the years 2021-2030. This program includes a well-focused roadmap along with the best experience in the world in developing aircraft manufacturing. “The total amount of investment in the actual development of the Ukrainian aircraft industry is expected to exceed 34 billion UAH in these years,” said Shimel.
According to him, almost 45 high-tech aircraft manufacturing companies received tax benefits by January 1, 2025, including exemption from income tax, VAT, land tax, import caps on high-tech equipment. According to the Prime Minister, this will also contribute to the development of the industry.
Shimel stressed that the state’s total investment in infrastructure projects amounted to 3.4 billion UAH in 2021.
