Kasa Korea Co., the operator of the digital assets investment platform, said on Tuesday that it had attracted 19 billion won ($ 16 million) from six investors to improve security for commerce and other necessary infrastructure.

The investment, from investors including PGS Partners, WeMade, Arche Investment and Yuanta Investment, has raised the total funds received by Kasa Korea to about 40 billion won, according to Kasa Korea.

The fintech startup said it would use 19 billion won to improve the security system and build another necessary infrastructure to operate its platform.

Kasa Korea launched in September last year a digital real estate exchange for commercial real estate, which allows people to trade digital assets based on commercial assets. Investors can receive monthly rents and earn capital gains when a property is sold.

Casa Korea has been selling three digital DABS since December last year and plans to trade in its fourth DABS next month. It plans to open a stock exchange in Singapore in the first half of next year. (Jonahap)
