EARTHDAY.ORG, The world organizer of Earth Day, Wednesday (January 12, 2022) announced that the theme for Earth Day 2022 will be “Socket on Our Planet”. Earth Day 2022 focuses on accelerating solutions to combat our biggest threat, climate change, and enable everyone – governments, citizens and businesses – to do their part. Everyone is accountable, and everyone is responsible.

The theme of Earth Day 2022 focuses on the participation of more than a billion people, governments, institutions and businesses participating in Earth Day to recognize our collective responsibility and help accelerate the transition to an egalitarian and prosperous green economy for all. The aim of the EDO campaign is to push aside the barriers set up by the ancient and dirty fossil fuel economy and partners in their conspiracy – old technologies of centuries past – and draw attention to the creation of a 21st century economy that restores our planet’s health, protects our species, and provides opportunities for everyone. EARTHDAY.ORGThe company’s campaign focuses on re-framing the conversation, accelerating operations and bringing us closer together to understand that it is within our reach if we work together.

After COP26 in Glasgow, it is even clearer that governments will not resolve this crisis on their own. Nor are they taking sufficient action to create an egalitarian economy that will allow all people in all countries to participate in the expanding green economy. Despite global inaction and even blockade, historical economic and green historical change is accelerating. From energy to technology to health philosophy to transportation engineering, forward-thinking national and local governments, activists, artists, innovators, inventors, scientists, universities, individuals and investors are developing green alternatives and solutions to rehabilitate the planet and accelerate a fair economic transition. Educators around the world are calling for climate education to provide science, civic skills and inspiration to create a new generation of leaders in every field who will lead their countries, businesses, beliefs and other institutions in this inevitable evolution.

Like the industrial, space and information revolutions, all sectors of society can and must play key roles – this time with the extraordinary responsibility to do so. The need converges with ingenuity and innovation, but everyone must play a role.

Governments can open new doors by incentivizing their citizens, businesses and institutions to create and innovate. They can create a fair global economic system to implement these innovations and changes without relinquishing their role of promoting and protecting the interests of the public in this transition.

Individual citizens – as voters, watchdogs and consumers – are accountable to businesses, governments and others and support their efforts when they do so correctly.

Like other economic revolutions, inventors, innovators, businesses and investors are most likely to drive significant change. It depends on the three sectors to harness the power of these agents of change and of the emerging green financial markets and require them to create value both for themselves and for society when they drive green innovation.

“In 2022, we must all enter into one partnership for the planet. People, governments, and even most businesses fear change, but the status quo – the way we live today – is changing before our eyes. In building our future, people, businesses, governments have a unique role – We need to act separately and together, “said Kathleen Rogers, the president. EARTHDAY.ORG. “Unlike other historical economic revolutions, this time there are two more imperatives: the first is to save ourselves from the climate crisis, and the second is to build new green economies in each country so that everyone can share in the benefits of this green revolution.. .
