OpenBet (owned by SG Digital)

In 1996, the first iteration of SG Digital was born. Orbis Technology was founded, making this provider one of the pioneers of online sports betting technology. After the turn of the millennium – and a rebrand to OpenBet – the firm quickly gained B2B partnerships with household names like William Hill, Ladbrokes and Paddy Power. It even powered the original version of Betfair’s sports betting exchange. OpenBet was recently acquired by SG Digital, but continues to catch the eye for its rock-solid performance and reliability. Today, it handles over 2 billion sports wagers. At its peak, the platform can process 65,000 bets per minute and guarantees 100% uptime during key sporting events.

SBTech

Bulgarian studio SBTech has enjoyed continued growth in the last decade, since its formation in 2007. Home to more than 1,000 in-house employees, SBTech is committed to delivering end-to-end B2B sportsbook solutions for operators. It even has hundreds of its own in-house traders that can help manage a brand’s pre-game and in-play pricing. It caught the eye of the industry through its partnership with 10Bet, and has since secured arrangements with the likes of NetBet and SportNation. SBTech even outdoes OpenBet with its ability to process up to 120,000 wagers per minute, along with intelligent, automated features that can monitor fraud and risk management.

Other special mentions go out to FSB Technology and Playtech BGT Sports – the latter of which is the sportsbook arm of one of the biggest iGaming solutions providers on the planet.
